NE-4 Entry & Exit Points

Not all interchanges on NE-4 work the same way. Full trumpet interchanges — like the ones at Khalilpur (KMP junction), Dausa, and Kota — connect NE-4 directly to other national highways and expressways, so you can switch corridors without leaving the access-controlled network. Smaller entry/exit ramps, more common near towns like Sawai Madhopur or Ratlam, are built mainly for local and regional traffic joining or leaving the expressway rather than through-traffic switching highways.

Because NE-4 uses closed tolling, the interchange you enter at and the one you exit at together determine your toll — not the distance you actually drive if you take a longer path between them. It's worth picking the entry and exit points closest to your actual origin and destination rather than the first ramp you see, since backtracking to an earlier interchange doesn't reduce your fare. If you're connecting to a spur — the Jaipur spur at Bandikui or the Jewar Airport spur near Faridabad — look for interchanges specifically flagged as spur junctions in the list below; missing one usually means driving to the next interchange and doubling back on local roads.
